When you arrive, your phone checks your location. You also take a live selfie. AI compares it with your profile photo. If it is not clear, a person on our team checks it.

How do I get hospitality work in Cape Town?

Is HirePro free for workers?
Yes. It is free to join, and HirePro never charges you anything. The businesses that book shifts pay us. You see what each shift pays before you accept it.
What jobs can I do?
Waiter (waitron), bartender, barista, chef, runner, host, scullery or cleaning, and event work. We decide which roles you are approved for. We look at your experience, your interview and your references.
What do I need to apply?
You need at least 1 year of hospitality work experience and the right to work in South Africa. Senior roles need more experience. Have your CV, ID and two references ready. Qualifications help, but they do not replace experience.
How are the checks done?
We check your ID and right to work, look at your qualifications, interview you and call your references. AI (Google Gemini) helps read your CV. A person makes every approval decision.
When do I get paid?
Every Tuesday, by EFT into your bank account, for the shifts you worked the week before. You see what a shift pays before you accept it.
Do I need to download an app?
No. HirePro works in the browser on any phone or computer. You log in, set the days you are free and accept shifts from there.
Can I work part-time, on weekends or while I study?
Yes. You set the days you are free and the areas you can travel to. You only get shift requests that fit. Saying no to a request costs you nothing.
How does check-in work?
When you arrive, you check in on your phone. GPS confirms you are at the venue, and you take a live selfie. AI compares it with your profile photo. If the match is not clear, a person checks it.
