How much does it cost to hire hospitality staff through HirePro?
You pay one hourly rate per role, times the hours you book. Nothing is added at checkout, so there are no hidden fees. You see the full itemised price before you confirm.
Do I pay a placement fee?
No. Shift bookings have no placement fee. For a permanent hire, you pay a flat R200 to get a candidate's contact details. There is no percentage of salary.
What happens if a staff member doesn't show up?
We offer the shift to other available staff nearby straight away. You can also invite one of your favourites. If nobody can take it, the full charge for that shift is credited back to you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancelling is free before the staff member confirms. It is also free if the shift starts more than 24 hours later. Within 24 hours of the start, you pay 50% of that shift's charge. Within 4 hours of the start, or after check-in, you pay the full charge.
How long does it take to get approved?
Business accounts are usually approved within 24 hours. We check every business before it can book staff. While you wait, you can try the free demo with sample data.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No long-term contract. You book shift by shift, with no minimum number of bookings. Each shift must be at least 4 hours long and start at least 3 hours after you book it.
Can I book the same staff again?
Yes. Rate staff after each shift and save the ones you like as favourites. Next time, you can invite them straight to your shift.
How do I pay?
By card or EFT. Card payments go through Yoco's secure checkout. Any account credit you have is used first. Your invoices stay in your HirePro account.
What is the difference between standard and premium staff?
Premium waiters and bartenders are senior staff for fine dining and upscale events, at a higher hourly rate. Standard staff are vetted for everyday service. You can see each person's ratings and completed shifts before you book.
