Why we started
Why we started HirePro
Daniel Nel and Samantha Nel started HirePro in Cape Town in 2025. They saw the same problem from both sides. Venues could not find reliable staff at short notice. Good waiters, bartenders and chefs had no fair, steady way to find work.
Traditional recruitment is slow and often charges a placement fee. WhatsApp groups are quick, but you don't know who you are getting. We wanted something in between: checked people, clear prices and fast booking.
We want good work to be noticed. Reliable staff should get booked again, and venues should know who is coming.

We help businesses book shift staff, hire permanent staff and find services. Here is how each part works.
Shift staffing
Book waiters, bartenders, chefs and event staff by the hour. You choose the person from real profiles. Available in 11 areas of the Western Cape.
Vetted staff
Two people on our team review each applicant. We check ID, interview them and call references before anyone can be booked.
Permanent hiring and services
Browse candidates anywhere in South Africa and pay R200 for a candidate's contact details, with no placement fee. We also list services venues need, like extraction cleaning, gas, refrigeration and coffee machine repairs.
Clear prices and pay
Businesses see the full price before they book. Staff see the pay before they accept, and are paid every Tuesday.
