Waiter

An upmarket hotel in Cape Town is looking for a well-presented and service-driven Waiter to join their front of house team. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of table service across lunch and dinner service. The role suits someone who takes pride in their work, knows their product, and can hold their own in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities: - Welcoming and seating guests in a professional and friendly manner. - Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently - Delivering meals and drinks in line with the hotel's service standards. - Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and beverage offerings - Upselling food and drinks where appropriate. - Keeping your section clean, stocked, and prepared throughout service - Supporting fellow team members during peak service periods. - Handling guest queries and escalating complaints when needed.

- Minimum 1 to 2 years of waiter experience in a hotel or upmarket restaurant environment Smart, professional appearance at all times. - Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Good knowledge of food and wine service. - Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. - Reliable, punctual, and a team player
